WIC Analysts 2011/12

Analysts are largely responsible for the educational component of WIC. Analysts meetings occur on a weekly basis to determine appropriate buy or sell opportunities for the portfolio. During general meetings, analysts are responsible for presenting these buy and sell ideas ("stock pitches") as well as presenting educational material on various topics in finance. Analysts are also responsible for running "Researcher Meetings". These involve a smaller group of club members meeting to discuss topics in finance and cover a specific industry. Analyst responsibilities in these meetings involve presenting educational material to their Researchers, as well as involving them in the origination of the stock pitch for general meetings.
